Bold and Elaborate

I had a trip into Havant this morning to visit the dentist. It was a sunny morning so afterwards I had a wander along the back streets. They contain plenty of history, some interesting community spaces, and rather more quirky elements, including this elaborate plaque on a row of Victorian houses commemorating Queen Victoria’s Golden Jubilee. Andy recalls visiting this house as a child and the many floors of rooms, including spooky ‘secret’ rooms in the attic!

Grateful:
- To make blackcurrant jam using the fruit I gathered recently at the allotment.
- To have a successful checkup at the dentist.
- To enjoy a peaceful walk in the sunshine along the back streets to get my haircut this evening.
