Swarm In Batsford
So, we found out where all the bees have gone ....
I've also seen a few butterflies today, at last. The best photo was a gatekeeper, in the extra, but I also spotted meadow browns, whites, a small tortoiseshell, and a rather tatty red admiral.
We had intended to have lunch at the arboretum but got stuck in a long traffic jam so on the way popped in to the garden centre that we visited last week. By the way we have found a gardener! Waiting to hear when they can start now, hoping it will be this year :-)
Anyway when we finally got to Batsford we saw that the main path from the entrance was closed. Oh well.
Lots of air activity on the drive home - I think it is the Fairford Air Tattoo this weekend. We saw the Red Arrows again, two groups flying in close formation.
In other news we had a 3½ hour Zoom meeting last night looking at camera club competition software (Pixoroo if you are interested). It looked very good so we are going to sign up.
