Wound up in Wexford

Relaxing

ArcLight relaxing at the 1798 memorial cross on Lacken Hill.  We had escaped there during the morning leaving W to hold the fort at home whilst my cleaner was doing her thing.

After lunch, we headed into Waterford, and had an interesting wander around the Medieval Museum.  My friend S had offered bellringing experience in the cathedral but the consensus was that we had done enough for the day, and we decided to head home, via the statues of Aoife and Strongbow.

It's been a lovely day, such a contrast to yesterday.   We were able to sit out on the patio after getting back home, and overindulge on gin and wine, whilst enjoying a salad prepared by W.  By 10pm, I was falling asleep in my chair, so headed to bed.
