Roses

I just pruned some back and took these buds. It's a weird rose, starts out as this pale lilac ad ends up the rose red. Almost looks as if it's dying at first.

Nice start to day quite warm. after dog walk I shopped at Tesco. then after lunch Paula decided to wash the car as it was covered in mud from the tractors messing up the local roads with mud. she got the pressure sprayer out, hosed it down and it started raining, so we never got it washed properly, but it does look a bit better.

I picked a load of rhubarb this afternoon, we had some for after tea, Some I will freeze for later.

It's forecast warmer weather for 3 days then back to rain and lower temperatures. We shall see..
