Bikers' night

We had all four seasons today. Dark and grey and cold in the morning. Sunny at lunchtime. I sat out in the garden. Then dark, rainy and dull. I sat at my desk trying to work, irrationally craving coffee walnut cake. Then the sun came out and I worked on till 6.10.

Suddenly I remembered that I'd seen on our local WhatsApp group that the annual  VMCC gathering to was to be held at our pub, the Crown and Sceptre. Naturally we had to go! The pub, the frontage and the car park at the back were heaving with motorbikes and bikers. I snapped this Triumph because it was the easiest to capture, being on its own against a 

We sat in the garden and I asked Clean Steve about all his former bikes (and sidecar) and then all the engines started revving and I quickly rang my friend V. She was coming out of a yoga class, but drove along and joined us. We sat in Daisybank.oark till it got chilly, then went home and had prawn curry with about three prawns in it. 

Perfect sunny end to a rather mixed bag of a day.
