Photobomber

We were awake before 5:00 but I went back to bed and slept a few more hours. Hubby took our recycling, etc to the convenience center. He also got a haircut. He decided to finish mowing the slight hill at the edge of our property but it was much too hot to stay outside long. Our thermometer is reading 100°F. The heat index would make it above 110°F. The temps in WV should be in the 80s while we are there. Much better. I filled the tub with all our non-perishables and gathered the cold food into the refrigerator in the utility room. I went out to get a blip before it got too hot. Was trying to capture a pretty daisy when this swallowtail decided to become my blip. After several shots, I decided this was the best photo. Hubby cleaned the kitchen. My right wrist is covered in some type of poison ivy rash. The itching is intense. Simply do not feel like putting it in dish water. We did general pre trip things after lunch. Hubby is napping and I am not far behind him. I’ll cook squash and corn to go with our leftover chicken. Easy night. Hope yours is as well. Stay safe.
