River of Flowers

Tuesday: Garden Flowers July

Half a dozen Goldfinch in garden as I was having my afternoon coffee - 2 adults and 4 chicks, maybe? They were flying from the Black leaved Elderflower to the Twisted Hazel, having drinks from the saucers of water and doing a lot of twittering :-))

Packed up the plants to send to my daughter and her husband for their garden - https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/3258161389528678575 - for some photos and list of names, except for green & white grass which doesn’t have any roots :-((

The Bullfinch was in its usual space in the garden at 7pm - we feel so lucky to have these beautiful birds sharing our garden :-))

Grey sky for most of day, breezy at times, temperate around 16°C - ok for drying the washing and for a little bit of pottering in the garden. Felt very tired by late afternoon :-((
