St Moritz

We took a trip to St Moritz today. More famous for winter sports, we enjoyed the warm weather and walked round the lake before finding an ice cream in the town. Delicious ice cream it was too! We saw lots of birdlife and the highlight perhaps being that I spotted both Pallid and Alpine Swifts. I hadn’t seen either before so that was lovely. Stopped off to view the Morteratsch Glacier on the way back which was stunning. Home tomorrow but that’s fine. It’s been a glorious wee holiday.
