Shall I compare thee to a Summer's day?

Actually, I wouldn't be that rude about you.  Not one of these Summer days, anyway.  In previous years our garden has been full of bees and butterflies; one seating area surrounded by lavender was effectively out of use because there were so many bees buzzing around and whilst I know they wouldn't intentionally sting you, it could be a bit disconcerting.  But today I counted two bees on the lavender, and even they didn't seem to be getting very much from it.

The forecast is for it to brighten up next week.  I hope so, as my picture today pretty much sums up Summer so far.
