Number147

Tuesday

I don't think it rained in Devizes this afternoon but it hammered down in Trowbridge.

Florence spent a lot of the morning talking to work and she found it quite tiring.

This afternoon Clive and I took her to my favourite garden centre in Hilperton, near Trowbridge.

We enjoyed tea and cakes and I made a few purchases. Florence has been wiped out by the outting and is now tucked up and asleep in bed.

The surgeon told us he had trouble stopping the bleeding on her brain and she required a transfusion a couple of days later. So her poor head has taken a lot of trauma. I guess it will take a great deal of time to heal.

When we left London there was a heatwave and we packed for summer. For some reason, she really feels the cold.
