Monday

Florence, Hetty and I walked into town this morning. We had a browse and stopped for coffee. We bumped into Harriet's mum, Rosemary, which prompted tears from Florence. Rosemary was very pleased to see Florence. She has known her since birth and the girls have been close friends since senior school.

She did very well to walk all the way in and home again but it tired her.

She's had lunch and is now in her room resting.

It's a wet afternoon but the weather promises to improve tomorrow. Hopefully.

More flowers arrived yesterday. I am struggling to keep up with them! I'm always going to send house plants to anyone in future. I think plants are far more manageable.

Clive and I were married 34 years ago yesterday.

Hetty has gone to the groomer, Marianne.

I love this photo of toddler Florence. She was a delightful little girl. Currently, she's quite dependent on me and I'm enjoying looking after her again.
