Haar when we woke up so didn’t rush to go out and waited for Ds laundry to finish. Walked around the village, looking in several nice shops. It’s picturesque- lots of lovely cottages and grander houses and the shops were much better than expected. Whilst we were walking the weather had warmed up . Had a late lunch of quiche from the local bakers with salad, and then decided to drive inland to Beauly. Stopped at another clothes and home shop on the outskirts and both made purchases. Had a wander around the town- not much there except the famous Campbells( very traditional country clothes shop) and lots of municipal planters full to the brim with summer bedding. Had a brief stop at an underwhelming farm shop on the way home.
Went out for dinner at the local restaurant- delicious. Strolled along by the sea to get there and back - see blip
