A walk around the garden with my macro lens

We actually saw some sun yesterday morning, so definitely an occasion to celebrate with my camera.  I’d been hanging some washing out when I noticed the clarity of colour on the geranium flowers, but that could have been down to my sunglasses.  In the end I decided to share the Echinops collage rather than the cranesbills - but I might add them later.

Another lunchtime trip to the hospital following on from my visit to see the consultant last Thursday.  This time for an MRI scan to my head.  An interesting experience and noisy, like people told me it would be, but with all the ear protection I didn’t find it too bad.

Thank you to Linda again, who drove me there and stayed with me. I think I was lucky this time as I think there was a cancellation and my notes were there at the right time.  I was expecting to wait around 5 weeks.

Thank you Barnsley Hospital and the NHS. We’ve been twice now at lunchtime and the place has got a nice feel about it, with staff enjoying lunchtime with colleagues in a friend,y environment.

p.s. I managed a short nap in the afternoon and woke feeling better than I've done for some time, in fact pretty normal.  It was a good feeling.

p.p.s. evening conversation with Lyn on Messenger regarding the Contemp North book project and the problems we are experiencing.
