Later, a film. A Quiet Place: Day One. Oh dear. Plenty of money to set up the backdrops, whether real or CGI. But what to do with it? Have a cat being cute? Look, aliens dropping from outer space is not hugely plausible so let’s not criticise the premise. You can however criticise the dumb way that people supposedly behave within that. 3/10. Max.
Later, football - the final of the 2024 Euros where firm favourites Spain who had already beaten France, Germany and Italy, came up against plucky underdogs, England. And when it went to 1-1 the upset might just have been on. But it wasn’t. They’re getting closer though, eh?
