14 years of photos on the site

But not, as I am always keen to remind people, 14 years of unbroken blips. That will come in September, as my first blip uploaded on the day was September 12 2010. So, taking into consideration leap years, my 5,110 consecutive blip will be a few days before that. Or alternatively, 14 years will fall on September 11, and that's when each yearly celebration should be marked. 14 years falling in July is a product of a modest number of back blips being uploaded, at a time when they didn't count towards your total number of blips for the purposes of blip birthdays. So, whatever, it is still 14 years of blip photos, so I am grateful to W for the shiny stones and neatwithice for the black backdrop.

Anyway, today I am uploading early, and doing something a bit different as it is raining in South East Ireland (as it has done a lot since neatwithice and W moved here), and we are having a lazy morning. After the excitement of the last two days, this is no bad thing. Unfortunately I am still coughing a fair amount (in fact, considerably more than yesterday), which is tiring. I haven't had to put up with this in ages. I last coughed a bit (but not too much) when I had covid for the second time in July 2022. But before covid, whenever I got a cold, which was relatively frequently, it always morphed into a cough, and the coughing was deeply tedious, as it is this time as well.

Anyway, back to Blipfoto. It's always a pleasure to be on this site which continues to be the nicest, and most useful, place on the internet, where I am constantly learning things and getting new ideas. It's a lovely way of documenting your own life and following the lives of others. Long may it continue.
