Soothing Paddington Bear's Homesickness

Our patch of Alstroemeria (Peruvian Lily) is looking sorry for itself, lying all hither and yon, after the wind and the heat. I expect the Head Gardener forgot to tell me to stake them all.

But come down to a single head of five flowers and I am very encouraged to put it into the diary to stake them next year.
