It's Hot on Crete, Sweetheart told me

... he's suffocating from the heat in Crete (40°C+) and stays home where the airco is blowing cold air onto him.
Since Summer here in Holland isn't hot at all, I searched my files for photo's showing heat on Crete and found these; made on August 6th 2019 at Sweetheart's little family chapel, where the annual service was held for its name giver. 
Spanning nets were there to give shade to the people who'd come to that service. 
And today it's hotter than it was then!
