Quiet Evening Stroll

It's always a treat to be out and about during and England game and tonight was no exception ... although after an hour with Jamie, Ruth, Chris and Mum, I had actually forgotten the match!   Turning the corner onto the promenade, I was soon reminded by the huge roar from The Slipway, a pub and restaurant there.   I guess the celebrations were short lived as by the time I was heading back home the game was over.

Not quite the spectacular that I blipped two days ago, now in the top ten Blips on the Popular page - for which thanks for all the hearts - but the colours in the clouds grew in complexity and intensity as Meg and I walked along the prom, almost alone.

On a warm sunny day I managed a couple of hours out in the garden, weeding.   Now I need to plant some new plants I have been gifted and some I have raised, into the space I created.   Tomorrow morning promises to be dry ... and they'll be well watered in later in the day, given the second half of the forecast!
