A Day in Dartmoor

We’ve had a lovely day in Dartmoor. I (Chris) woke around 4.30am and poked my head out the curtain to see a beautiful start of day with a cloud inversion (see the extra). After a bit more sleep and a relaxed morning we headed out to meet Annie’s uncle and aunt (who live in Devon) for lunch in Widecombe in the Moor. We stopped en route to say hello to the locals which Annie loved (blipped!!).

After a good meal and catch-up we headed into Dartmoor and Annie and I had a great walk out to the site of Foggintor Quarry (see extra 2 and 3). It was a beautiful afternoon.

Back home we had a light dinner before being treated to a lovely sunset. It has been a lovely day.
