By the Sea

We have Rosie’s graduation in Exeter on Tuesday so with the wedding yesterday being in the same part of the country, we’d decided to have a short break here in Devon.

A beautiful morning so we went to see the sea via Babbacombe model village which I (Chris) last visited as a child. We took the Babbacombe cliff railway down to the beach at Oddicombe where we grabbed some lunch and the blip.

With the weather on the turn we then headed inland taking a quick stop to look at Seale-Hayne, a former agricultural college where my father studied in the 1960s. Finally it was on into Dartmoor to our Airbnb which is remote and lovely. See the extra for our view.
