Sheltering from the Sun

A cloudy start to the day did not seem auspicious for the concert in Queen's Park this afternoon to be given by the Loughborough Male Voice Choir but by the time we arrived the sun was coming out and it proved to be pleasantly warm.

The choir performed excellently. All in good voice and in tune AND you could hear all the words. The least inspiring number was Football's Coming Home which proved not to be true following Spain's victory in the Euros in the evening.

As I was leaving on my little scooter, I could not resist taking a photo of this lady under her shawl. She was enjoying the warmth but not the sun.
