Let sleeping foals lie

There are more than 60 horses in the fields behind the estate, including a couple of foals, the other one is bigger. This one gave an occasional twitch of head or tail, mum was rather restless, although I was quite a way off maybe she thought I was too close.
Church as usual this morning and more Tour watching this afternoon, though I did take a break and go for a walk, and was able to knit while watching.
What a tough day for the cyclists, we thought the 3 cols we'd driven over were pretty tough but they were done in less than half way and only half the climbing. It was nice to see places recently visited - but I'm glad we didn't have bikes with us!
