Ouchy to Evian

I haven't posted this lovely weathervane for a while. I just love its elegance and simplicity.
It was a fabulous day for a lake crossing and today is the 14 juillet, the French National Day.  On arrival we were all greeted by a brass band playing and  marching down the lakeside main street.

I had a nice day with Jean and he enjoyed the meal that I had cooked here on Saturday evening to take with me to heat up, with extra for another meal. I also found some lovely  juicy, dark cherries (his favourite fruit).
Extras:
- La Suisse steamboat waiting to take people on a cruise, taken from my boat just before we pulled out of the port.
- The 14 juillet celebration round the statue near Jean's building. I took the photo from his living-room window overlooking the lake.
