Learning day by day

Founders day at Tring

Prize giving and speeches. Keynote speech by Max Westwell (Brigerton and ex English National Ballet amongst may other things) which was all about nurturing the relationships around you in school than worry about contacts because in the long run it's relationships that get you a foot in the door work wise and Tring alumni look out for each other. Something I think Carys was already aware of but highlighted to her how her friends would be very valuable in many different ways in years to come and hopefully she will be to them too. Who knows where they will all end up but looking at the alumni some will definitely be successful in various roles in the arts.

A brief pause then I watched Carys's years ballet class demo while she worked back stage on the 6th form MT shows. I then watched the MT performance from the foundation performance kids (yr10-11). They were excellent. Carys worked back stage for the first performance and then part way through the second she came out and we packed up the car. I then left her to get ready for the summer ball this evening. I will pick her and the rest of her stuff up tomorrow morning for summer.
Extra is Carys in her glad rags with Charlie, her technical theatre mate.
