Chocolate and marshmallow birthday cake

This is the chocolate and marshmallow birthday cake I made for a friend of mine. It's a genoise chocolate sponge with whisky syrup, raspberry jam and chocolate buttercream with marshmallows, covered in a chocolate ganache. if you want to see more of my cakes you can visit my FB page or click here.

I was off today, but my day has been pretty much dedicated to this cake. I had a lazy morning and then I went to the cake shop to buy some stuff I needed. I finished making the cake and delivered it, so done and dusted! :)

I still have to go shopping for food.

Trying to book accommodation in Speyside for one day next week, because I might want to go there to take photos for the Spirit of Speyside Photography Competition. However, I'm not getting anywhere so far, and everybody I have spoken to on the phone has been grumpy. So much for the nice Scottish hospitality! Maybe it's just Speyside... So, it might not happen... we'll see..
