Day 6 Worms to Rüdesheim

93 km, via Mainz. It was a beautiful morning, we were in no rush and had a leisurely breakfast watching the Rhein. We stayed on the west side of the Rhein, the first stop was Oppenheim, where we had a drink. We arrived in Mainz for a parish lunch, at the Ruderclub just before the city. We cycled around the city, there’s a very pretty Altstadt part (blip). We crossed to the other side passing beautiful towns like Biebrich and Eltville. Eltville was gorgeous, we stopped for an Eis Kaffee, decided we would cycle a bit further and I booked the hotel in Rüdesheim, just another 15 km. Rüdesheim Is apparently where about 3 million tourists a year come to do activities around the Rhine. It was touristy but nice, quaint buildings and Weinstube, yes, of course we made time to try some Rhine Riesling ;-)
