Sally Mair - Loving life

Jackmanii

The girls sleep well overnight so I didn't wake till around 8.30. Bonnie was back in her cot and Ali in the lounge with Josie who was playing beautifully by herself with the Duplo.
We had some breakfast then back to the lounge. Ali was enjoying having the chance to rest and be off duty because I was around too.
We had a very quiet morning. I enjoyed watching Josie and listening to her two year old chatter as she played. She really is very good at contentedly amusing herself. Long may it may last. Bonnie was in good form too, she has a beautiful smile with accompanying chortle! She is beginning to roll over, which is always fun to watch as she tries to work out what to do with her arms.
Today's blip is our Jackmanii Clematis which has a spectacular number of flowers this year. So much so that It's weighing down the Climbing Peace rose which it grows through. I've had to prop it up with our wheelie bin till I come up with a way of securing it .
Colin and I opted for a curry next door this evening. Sometimes living next door to an Indian restaurant is just too convenient.
Church tomorrow after which I've booked a slot at Craigie to go and pick some cherries. I've been waiting for them to be available but the poor weather has held them up. I can't wait, they are truly the best cherries ever.
