Say it wi' flowers :-)

In the summer break from Uni, eldest has taken on extra days in her part time job and so has a commute into Manchester 4 days a week.

There is an advantage for her in that we live right next to a rail station on the old Woodhead line. Unfortunately her regular train has been occasionally cancelled and was so several times last week with literally half an hour to go :-/

There is however a train passing through nearby Stalybridge that she can catch and so I have dashed her there often...3 times last week in fact...but I don't mind, Ubering being all part of parenthood!

Anyway, waking up this afternoon from my 1st Nightshift, she gifted me a lovely bunch of flowers & box of choccies. She didn't have to but it's lovely to be appreciated :-)

Nightshift No.2 tonight and have commuted on l'Biscuite.
