Street art & some iconic locations

I begin a weekend of nightshifts today and so began with a loooong lie in, followed by a soak in the bath. an appointment to attend and grabbing something stir-friey for tea. With no pictures taken am thus blipping some more from Wednesday in Liverpool.

Here we have a Phonebox for Phriday decked in vinyl. I didn't pay much attention at the time but the words 'Peace Movement' were certainly something that resonated and was reason enough to snap away. A cursory web search suggests it is in fact street art by Liverpool's own Scouse Banksy - Sine Missione - a controversial figure it seems so am not wading in any further!

In the extras we have two iconic locations for Beatles songs, Penny Lane & Strawberry Fields. Both youngest and I love both tracks and it'll be nice on a freer day to take a stroll down Penny Lane at least and maybe visit the centre that now sits at Strawberry Fields. We listened to those and more at high volume rolling east along the M62. It's only the second time we have visited the city which is a pity as it's not too far away and there is lots to see...even wandering around looking at all the beautiful old buildings could occupy a long day and that would just be scratching the surface really.

Feel free to read any of.this blip in the voice of your favourite Beatles member. Whilst enjoying George Harrison's contributions & much liking some of Paul McCartney's later work in Wings ( according to Alan Partridge...the band the Beatles could have been ;-D ) your Gal here is typing it in the voice of Ringo because as well as recently celebrating his birthday, I also grew up with him narrating Thomas The Tank Engine so it just comes naturally!
