Mountains

After the slightly traumatic flight delays and drive through the mountains in the dark, today dawned warm and sunny which was very welcome. We could the train down to Tirano - ten minutes away and in Italy rather than Switzerland for a wander round the beautiful old town and more importantly to do some shopping! This evening we took at drive up to the Pass of Bernina - 2330m above sea level. The alpine scenery was stunningly beautiful although the windy roads were interesting to drive!
