Eat the cheese!
Decided to go a walk down the harbour last night and try a bit of time lapse video (which you can view here)
My good friend Scott had the patience to come sit with me for an hour and a half with the promise of a bottle of wine to enjoy ;)
We were sat atop a small hill to get the best view of the harbour, unfortunately as warm as it was, it was helluva cloudy, sods law. Managed to catch a few pics of the bunnies that live in the bushes, we turned around to find about ten of them appearing from nowhere, quite creepy.
Watched the young folk heading back up from the beach where they'd been enjoying a bit too much 'sun' all day as they screeched their way back towards town.
Watched a few clips from The Thick Of It to pass the time and when the battery died on the camera decided to head back up town for a sing song.
We've discovered a new game on the quiz machine, which we've spent a small fortune on and got little return, it's called Eliminator, you have to pick 8 things from a selection of 16 answers for example name 8 uses for a banana or 8 Hugh Grant films, not as easy as it sounds. we did win a few quid last night but it being a highly addictive game we put it back in.
Scott put me up to sing a bit of James Brown, and on me giving my best effort of soul brother number one, i sang the opening line "This is a mans world" only to have hollered from the other side of the bar "is it fuck!" by a lady with different ideas.
Many songs were sung and special mention to the young guy in the blue (or it might have been purple) velvet suit giving an excellent and entertaining version of the Rolling Stones.
The night ended with a walk home in the cool summer night. All in all a great evening spent.
