What a load of bollards . . .

This is a well lit bit of Station Street in Rippingale.
 
This road has been like this since before the 30mph speed limit was invented, and street lights were gas (but not in Rippingale).
 
And yet, a week or so ago, the county council decided to put this line of expensive eyesores on this bend . . . WHY???!!
 
It’s not even if it is an aid to dogs, they all use the litter bin as they always have done (not the lady dogs though).
 
On a dark bit of country road out of the speed limit I could see some sense in this but here, and when the council is short of money anyway!!??
