Malva Sylvestris, Common Mallow

So Google tells me, and it would seem a wild flower rather than a flower growing wild.  Having said that it could have escaped from somewhere as the seeds can be bought.

Biskit is on his hols with us for a week as the offspring are on holiday in Alicante.  Rather them than me (us) – it looks a trifle hot to say the least.  The daughter tried to get the family to choose somewhere a bit cooler when they were booking but was overruled – “I told you so” was resounding around their household this morning.

Many thanks to BikerBear for hosting FlowerFriday, and to Miranda for hosting Wild Flower Week.
