A Meandering Life...

Saltburn-By-The-Sea

We visited Saltburn-By-The_Sea today. It was so wet you couldn’t see the sea!

Our visit was to drop our eldest daughter at our middle daughter in New Marske and I took advantage of looking at a few things Blipped by ApolloFly who now lives in Saltburn.

Being a Saturday there was a small artisan market near the station selling some lovely produce.

My main Blip is from within a local shop selling locally made arts and crafts. I love these type of posters and hope to start making my own soon.

In Extras:

Saltburn Mosaics, all five together showing the history of the town. Mosaics has been a past hobby of mine and I can see the great effort taken to get these created. The lower mosaic is not fully shown, you’ll need to go to see it all… ;o)

Saltburn Vintage Rooms, Blipped by ApolloFly a few days ago and got me itching to see within. I can’t describe it better than ApolloFly but would add quite a few things were priced less than expected. My selection covers the sort of thing I’m currently doing in Men’s Shed. I did buy an unusual glass bottle which may end up as a Blip at a later date.

Thanks to ApolloFly for showing off her ‘new’ home, Blip helps to see what can be missed when visiting new areas. My daughter hadn’t been to the town part of Saltburn before so now she has I’m sure some of the lovely quirky shops will interest her.
