The Monk's Cell. A reconstruction of a monk's house. Surprisingly spacious with a good size garden. On the ground floor was a bedroom, this study room and a larger room that had a table and stairs to an upper level. Outside a well laid out garden, mini cloister and an outhouse. The suggestion they were restricted to the cell was the hole in the wall by the front door. It was angled so that things could be passed through without seeing either side. 

Hedgehog. As we left to go to Mount Grace this chap ran across our drive into a part of the garden. It returned with a mouth full of dried leaves. On seeing me it froze dropping half its load. It stayed still until I moved away. I have warned my neighbours to check under their cars in the coming days.
