PUFFINS!

My special day arrived and it was perfect summer weather fo going on a Puffin cruise with Lainey and Angelique (and Henry too!)  We cruised out of New Harbor, Maine to Eastern Egg Rock, the site of a huge puffin colony (and many other sea birds) and the location of the Audubon Seabird Institute.  The sea foam was especially beautiful today, making sparkling patterns in the water.  It was such a special day.  In the extra photo collage is a hungry Herring Gull hoping for a handout from the fishermen unloading the days catch, some of the beautiful sea foam patterns, a view of part of the institute and Angelique holding her new Puffin stuffy.  After a lovely lunch in Wiscassett, we head home tired but very happy.
