The Needles

Cool & overcast today.
We visited the Needles, taking the chairlift down to the beach. J agreed to the ride but was traumatised by the height so I walked back up with her, I lost count of the amount of steps!
After a coffee we walked out to the Old Battery which is an 1800’s fort utilised in the later war years. The New Battery was where they carried out rocket testing but unfortunately it was closed today.
Stopped off in Yarmouth on the way back, lots of Yacht Clubs & so many boats in the harbour, they looked amazing against the darkening sky.
