Sunset

It’s been a lovely day, we visited Osbourne House, the home of Queen Victoria & her husband Albert. We viewed the house then bought sandwiches & drinks from the terrace cafe & walked down to the beach to enjoy our picnic.
We searched the beach for sea glass & found a good haul. We then went to the Swiss Cottage & Museum where the Royal children had played as youngsters & their extensive collections were on display.
There were lots of butterflies in the wilder areas which was nice to see.
A quick trip around the walled gardens then we headed back via the chain ferry from East Cowes.
We enjoyed the evening watching the sailing club & the sunset.
