An early session on the plot, lifted a few potato hulms, a bit of slug damage, but plenty for us to enjoy. I sowed another row of climbing beans hoping for a late crop , tied in a few of the broad bean stems for support, plus did a bit of weeding. Rain forecast so did'nt need to water.
Down to CK, made Mum's breakfast, then set off with Indie for our walkabout, felt more like Spring than Summer. The sun actually appeared once I was back at Mum's so after a quick coffee Mum did some deadheading, while I pruned an Ash that is growing in a chimney pot. It came with Mum & Dad from the Anchor many years ago, each year producing lots of growth which has to be pruned back hard. It should be in the ground but for sentimental reasons it remains. Made Mum's lunch, then headed back to Chudleigh. Lunch made for hubby & I before the Men's singles tennis semi's began. Perfect timing.

I believe this is my 2000th Blip. Can't believe it. It's great being part of the Blip community, thank you for your comments, stars, hearts, &, just being there. x

Thanks to BikerBear aka Anni for hosting Flower Friday
