A mini landscape

Following Djokovic's win in the semi-final at Wimbledon, I went to sit by the pond aiming to get a photo using my Kase polarising filter. I can't say that it's worked. I'm used to being able to rotate PL filters but it didn't seem to work in this case. I'm probably doing something wrong.

We shopped at the market this morning. I fell sound asleep for over an hour on our return having been awake too long the night before.

Basil and I walked round the corner to see Helen to ask if she would like to come to Leamington Spa next week to meet Joe Cornish. She said Yes and also that she would drive.

After supper of bream and chips, I staggered down to the pond to try use the PL lens. 

I gave up and took this view of a scruffy corner instead. Cloudy.
