Positives and negatives today

The negative for me is that I once again have a cold. Is it coincidence that I met those two lovely children, who were slightly sniffly, and now I have a cold?  Anyway, helped by some medicine I did spend a bit of time in the garden, working on the dodgy sliding door of the van. I've now ordered what I need and will pause that work until the post does its stuff.
The positives were that the day was mostly sunny and warm so I spent a bit of time sitting outside soaking up some vitamin D, and the beauty of our flowers. There was a quietly buzzing soundtrack because the bees are also very happy about our flowers. I may have snoozed like some sort of ancient pensioner...
As you can see we rather like the semi-wild effect that seems to happen if you plant perennials and then allow them to do their stuff without to o much interference. All kudos to Jan as the flowers are very much her domain.
I'm hoping to feel a bit better tomorrow - if not I'll be choosing a good book from our rather extensive collection, or perhaps I'll be found in front of the TV.
