Farewell to The Fens

On the way to the station this morning, passed the cathedral and another sculpture from yesterday’s exhibition. The Seated Figure is about 10 feet tall, the detail is incredible (in extras, a closeup I took yesterday). 

Train from Ely to a very busy London King’s Cross (second extra), underground to Paddington station, train to Bath where my brother was waiting, drove to the care home to bring Dad home for the weekend, home by 3pm, chores inside and outside, fish and chips takeaway for tea. An early night is on the cards for everyone!

Thank you so much for all your kind stars and hearts for yesterday’s blips. Ely Cathedral is a stunning building but as the exhibition was the focus of my visit, I used the sculpture as my main pic and added the cathedral pics as extras.
