Japanese Wineberries

We’ve had the first of our crop of Japanese Wineberries today, they were a delicious addition to my porridge this morning. The berries are a bit like raspberries but a bit sharper and, unlike raspberries, they have the benefit of not being attractive to birds so they don’t need to be netted.
