Candy floss

I made it to Hilliers Gardens today for the first time since my op. It was lovely to be there and see the summer colours. This shrub looked stunning. As we passed it a school trip was coming by and were invited to feel it, with ‘gentle fingers’! We asked what it is called, I forget what she told us but she said they call it candy floss, which I did remember. It was very soft and such a lovely colour. I somehow managed 4000 steps today which is by far the best I’ve done since my op. And it was the furthest I’ve driven. So an achievement all round. I was very tired when I got home and just sat in the armchair, luckily there was lots of tennis to watch!
An extra if some of the other sights at the Gardens.
