Pop Of Red

I bought a packet of seeds in the supermarket labelled as a mixture that would attract insects. I sowed them in a bare patch in the raised bed by the back door. The first to flower was candytuft which hasn't proved attractive to insects.

I loved it when I spotted a pop of colour this morning. The poppy has its first visitor. :)

Mish and I visited my daughter and discussed how she would accessorize her ME+EM frock for our granddaughter's graduation ceremony next week. She's thinking of getting poppy red earrings
