And then summer reappeared

The sun shone as I drove into town shortly after dawn this morning for an early voluntary shift. It continued to shine for most of the day. On our walk around the fields to the west of the house this afternoon we were wishing we had taken water with us! This new conservation area is burgeoning with flora and fauna. It is becoming more established as each season comes round.
