This afternoon's art class finished with my fav activity. Free expressionism - painting a response to music. I have done this in every art class I've taught from Grade 7 to adult, and usually but not always, with Floyd's 'Dark Side' and it is always amazing how the artists respond. Of course I joined in the activity and as always, I produced an image (part of which is today's Blip) unlike any I have ever produced before when doing this. That's the wonder of this task.  I think it is good for the participants to know that I am meeting them, for an hour, on a level playing field, responding just as they are, to the music.
