Chasing the Dragon

A slow, gentle wander around the gardens at Dyrham Park with Laurie. 

No chance of seeking out the still nervous new fallow deer herd, but I spent some time playing with the emperor dragonflies on the lake. Harder than clay pigeon shooting! 

This chap was being rudely ejected from the perceived territory of the smaller blue damselfly! Twice the dragon returned and twice the damsel came back to bite at his wings. 

Eventually, the little fella won... there's a lesson there.
