A visit to Strawberry Hill

Yesterday our dear friends arrived in readiness for a visit to Lords for the men today.  Last night we had a curry at our favourite Indian restaurant.  This morning I took D and Mr MC to the tube station  then returned to settle down to a good catch up with T my longest standing friend.  
This afternoon we had to pick up Violet from school and I asked The Son if he would do the walking and collecting as the road where we usually park is still closed thanks to Thames Water and even though we arrived early I could not find a 'legal' parking space in a nearby road.  Whilst The Son fetched Violet I drove to the very nearby car park to show T Strawberry Hill, which I photographed recently.  Of course it has rained  heavily since I last visited and we were very limited with time so we chose not to walk completely around  the pond, viewing it from the horse ride track instead.  Pictured is one of the beautiful trees at the water's edge, taken with my phone
