Went to upholstery this morning. Things went well but as always more slowly than I expected. Quite a bit of hand sewing to do now which isn’t my favourite. Came home for a quick lunch, went to have my fringe trimmed, cut the grass and took the key round to B’s ready for her to feed the cats. Went to Bridge in the evening. The person who was supposed to be partnering me didn’t turn up so I got the Chair of the club instead. He of course was an excellent player- too good for me. He was very kind but tried to tell me too much and also didn’t consistently use the rules that we have been taught in the Beginner’s class and which should be followed on the Wednesday evening drives. We did win, but that was mainly his efforts and not mine! A very grey day but no rain and no photos so here are the ceramic pieces I bought from the Art Fair a few weeks ago.
